Northern Growers LLC and Broin Investments I, LLC of Sioux Falls, South Dakota jointly own an ethanol plant near Big Stone City, South Dakota, called Northern Lights Ethanol (d/b/a POET Biorefining - Big Stone). POET Biorefining - Big Stone began full operation in June 2002.
There have been two splits of capital units since 2002.
A 4:1 split was effective on September 1, 2005
A 2:1 split was effective on July 1, 2006
All offers to purchase (bids) and offers to sell must be communicated by telephone or in person.
Trading Requirements
Northern Growers, LLC halted trading June 25, 2010, as it proceeds with reclassification of its capital units.
All offers to purchase and offers to sell must be communicated with a Registered Representative in person or telephone no later than 5 pm (CST) on any business day. Please note under available listings, the effective date is the first day a buyer can match an available listing.
Minimum Ownership – 2,500 Capital Units
Minimum Sale Increments – 500 Capital Units
Membership Requirement - $100 one-time fee for new owners.
Delivery Requirement – None
Utilize ATS/QMS standards for selling and buying capital units.
